Hola all!

Ive been a very bad blogger. Do forgive me.
Things have been a bit busy recently,I just started back at school, and I started working in office again. Leaving me very little time for the blog/ra ra riot. Im hoping (fingers crossed ) to have the Ra Ra Riot website up and running by Christmas  So im sure there will be a good few posts on that coming up. This weekend im shooting levity breaks new video for their song "broken hands" Though i do have to get up at 5am and be on the set by 6am. Getting myself up for 5 should be interesting.

Anyway,
New jeans-in love. Urban outfitters sale-£20 oh yes. Its getting really really really cold outside these days,so i need to start pilling on the layers soon. How'd ya like my new boots? They are my work shoes,i love burgundy so i thought i'd go for that colour rather than just black. I must stop distracting myself,I have two essays to do for school. wehhh

I hope you've all had a great Halloween,and happy 1st of November!

Seasonal style!

Seasonal style you can’t go wrong with

As the weather is beginning to change and becoming more unpredictable there comes a time when most of us begin thinking about changing our wardrobe for the season. Classic styles and cuts are a good addition to make to your clothing collection as they are versatile and timeless meaning many items will be good to keep for the future and will not need replacing as fashions change. Here are some suggestions of pieces that, once you have them, you will wonder how you ever did without.

Trousers

Chinos are a type of trouser, the original versions of which were 100% cotton. They are long lasting and great for cooler evenings. Their roots lie in nineteenth century British military uniforms, which is a testament to their durability. Though they come in many colours a classic khaki or brown are good tones to pick as they will go with most other colours and are a happy medium between lighter summery shades and dark winter ones. Both a casual and playful style, they are a great alternative to jeans which can easily look a little scruffy after too much wear and tear.

Tops

A polo-shirt is a must-have item for any casual autumn wardrobe. A staple of British fashion for many years, a good quality polo made by brands such as Fred Perry is an easy way to stay comfortable yet stylish. If your trousers are an understated colour you can opt for several polo shirts in an array of colours to give you different looks without having to purchase an entire new outfit. They are firmly entrenched in the British fashion tradition of blending sportswear with streetwear.buy here!

Footwear

To compliment the sportswear/streetwear blend canvas plimsolls can be a good choice. Suitable for walking and some light sport, there are styles available which also take into account contemporary trends in men’s footwear. You can go for light colours or dark colours depending on your preference and how likely you think it is that you can keep your shoes clean. If you want to look more individual consider coloured soles or laces which can complement the rest of your outfit.

Accessories

There is an increasing amount of attention being paid to the market of men's accessories these days, which gives you more choice when choosing accessories such as bags. It’s getting easier to find a bag that is not only practical, but also fashionable. Barrel bags are great for multiple purposes from travelling to sports and come in various colours and luxurious materials.

He-Shi Luminous Shimmer review!

I wont lie to you,I'm no tan addict. I very rarely wear fake tan,and i don't own any fake tan. Until now!
My best friend is a self proclaimed tan addict, but i never saw the attraction of streaky tan that smelt like curry and made you look like a wotsit. This morning i received the  "He-Shi luminous shimmer" alongside a he-shi tanning mit. The shimmer is a wash off bronzer perfect for a night out glow. The bronzer itself has beautiful subtle glitter that makes the skin glow.

I recently had my first spray tan,and it took days to scrub off,so the fact that this is wash off is perfect.
The 150ml tub is packed full of product, and you only need to use the tiniest bit,a little goes a long way! One of my favourite things about this product is the smell. It smells SO GOOD. Ive been trying to figure out what it smells like for the last hour,it just smells beautiful.

Another favourite thing about the Luminous Shimmer is that it can be layered up,for someone like me who would rather be white than orange its perfect to subtly enhance my colour. I can layer it lightly for a glow,or double up for a darker colour. Luminous Shimmer is packed full of hydrating organic quinoa protein, proven to provide fab skin conditioning.  The shimmer can also be used to highlight areas such as your collar bones, this is defiantly something I'll be trying! I really love this tan. Consider me converted to the church tan lovers!

Chilling in the sunshine before i go back to the classroom tomorrow!
New York Fashion Week is around the corner though, thats something to look forward to!

Hope you have a great week/weekend

Passion for fashion

Christmas Party look!

This is a really simple but i think really glam outfit. The dress is  from mango and is £100-I would usually never pay this for a dress, but it really just the most beautiful thing in the world. Its so heavily beaded that it simply just hangs on the frame. Ugh,i love it. The cream leather jacket is £40 from miss Selfridge,it has gold exposed zips and i just love it. Its very Zara isn't it? I would pair this dress with a pair of these black killer heels from owntherunway.com and the black studded clutch from the outfit below!

Dress-£100 mango
Jacket-£40 miss Selfridge
shoes-£30 owntherunway.com
clutch-£20 new look
total-£190

FIRST DATE!
Oh i love this one. The dress isnt too short or too long, its the perfect midi,a huge trend.  These black wedges really set the outfit off and make it much more glam. This denim jacket with leather sleeves incorporates one of A/W biggest high street trends-most people are noticing the leather sleeves with a trench coat trend,so i thought i would be different and show this one instead. never follow the crowd eh? This topshop cross arm cuff is just sensational,it makes the outfit so much edgier and it incorporates the cross trend, without making the obvious statement of "im working the cross trend!". Finally this studded clutch from warehouse pulls the outfit together, its both classy and edgy. And its studded, another huge huge trend! Instead of just putting the outfit together online i wanted to bring the outfit to life, and here it is!
Wedges-Miss selfridge £40
Jacket-h&m £30
Clutch-newlook £20
Arm Cuff-topshop £10
total £180!

Monthy Lustings

£90 from the ragged Priest.
A redic price for something that could easily be made by yourself for a fraction of the price. But the beauty of this jacket is Un-deniable.

£65 from topshop.

I think i would sell my soul for this jacket. Ive been on the lookout for a leather jacket for ages. I wouldn't even mind just buying a normal one and studding it myself but this one is just out of this world. High waisted denim shorts, ankle boots and this jacket. Even the thought of that outfit excites me beyond belief.

£45 topshop
How beautiful is this?
I recently bought a pair of black mary jane heels from miss selfridge that would go perfectly with this. If i had somewhere nice to go like a wedding,i would so buy this.

£185 all saints
The dress that dreams are made of.
Im really loving heavily beaded pieces these days. I got some gorgeous topshop beaded shorts recently for £15 in the sale. they are spectacular.
Ive been in love with this dress for about a year now,we have a complicated relationship. I love it,and im sure it loves me,but we cant be together. Due to the price. Its so beautiful. It would just hang on my frame. And the back is low, another aspect of it that i adore.
SOMEDAY IT WILL BE MINE.

Star buys of the month...

Beaded topshop shorts £15
Miss selfridge back chain £2
Beaded Miss selfridge hand chain £1

Have a great week!

Dress-Lipsy,bought at vintage mark £15

I don't want to get into the habit of posting about every shoot i do,but this one was really nice, and you might want to know where i got the clothes?! Anyway,my uncle kindly let us use the bar he manages-The Emerald Roadhouse. We used the ball room that had these gorgeous mirrors with fairy lights all around them. I really like how the photos turned out. The photography was by the amazing BigBad Llama & the makeup was by the fantastic Uana Tovar. Summer inst as exciting as it should be,but i'm going to blame the boring-ness of it all on the weather. Hope you are all well and enjoying summer!
