Belfast Fashionweek

Belfast Fashion Week returned for its tenth and one of its best years yet.  Fashion Week headquarters are now at LIFE Church, an incredible building that was absolutely perfect for the event. The team are staying here for a few more seasons which is fab because I adore it.
As I made my way into the venue I had my outfit snapped by Brendan Gallagher before being handed a glass of my fave West Coast Cooler Rose. I then dropped into the reception room which was decorated with an array of fairy lights and cherry blossom flowers hanging from the ceiling. Bellaire had a pop-up salon offering gorgeous manicures from their team and Peter Mark also had a mini-salon set up for guests to have their hair touched up before heading out for after show drinks.

-What I wore-

I was lucky enough to be styled by one of Belfast's best and most creative stylists, Lewis Robert Cameron from Beyond Man. He contacted me with the idea of collaborating to come up with my outfits for each of the shows, although, there wasn't much collaborating because Lewis put things together that I'd never think of. He's made me want to be more adventurous with my outfits and I certainly got all the attention that we were after!

Cocktails and Sushi from Zen lined the bar as Belfast's best dressed got style spotted for the Ulster Tatler and IN magazine before we all headed in to see the show.

Thursday night's show was Excel which showcased some distinguished and well known designer brands like Barbour, Ted Baker and Armani.

Designer's night was on Friday, it was my favourite. I witnessed some amazing creations from local designers such as Julia Sokele, GrĂ¡inne Maher and, my personal favourite, newcomer Chloe Dougan. This was as well as local boutiques like Jourdan, Diamond Dolls and the amazing Blush.

Katie Wilson, Blush and Nor Lisa showing Northern Ireland's incredible creative talent.

The final catwalk show was high street heaven, the outfits were pulled together impeccably. I fell in love with the monochrome co ord that model Yomiko rocked.
Castle Court dominated the catwalk during the high street show on Saturday. This Burton pastel blue suit just takes the biscuit though doesn't it? Love.

As always, a huge thank you goes out to the entire fashionweek team for another incredibly successful season.
Here's to S/S 15!

Argento Re-launch

I attended the Argento Re-launch last Thursday and it was one of the best events I've been too. I met the lovely founder of Argento Pete Boyle opened started his company by selling jewellery on a market stall outside castle court before opening his first store in 1997.

The successful entrepreneur now employs 386 staff and works with international brands such as Pandora, Nomination, Thomas Sabo and Michael Kors as well as retailing product designed in-house or sourced from suppliers right across the globe.

The launch was buzzing, with the shop filled to the brim with bloggers, models, photographer's and Belfast's most stylish women. I was kindly gifted a piece of my choice and I choose this beautiful necklace by Dirty Ruby!

Speaking about the re-launch, Pete Boyle said: A large part of our company ethos is in the appreciation of design, and so I put a lot of focus on the interior design of the new look store. We’ve stripped walls back to bare brick and used reclaimed wood and steel beams which were painted in a unique Harland and Wolff yellow to give a subtle nod back to the city where the business started - as well as looking good against our grey. This is a truly unique shop-fit and there is not another one like it in Belfast.”

Huge thanks to ARGENTO and the CMPR team for such a great event!

Excuse my crazy hair,I was rushing from one job to another! How amazing are these heels?
I'm going to Liverpool this month and I think they'll look amazing with a black dress, the perfect statement shoe. September was such a busy month,I've been working loads and trying to find time to blog when I can.  I was recently invited to the Agento relaunch which is where I got this fabulous necklace,a full post on the event is coming soon!

I had a shoot with Tony Webster today for Beyond Man's fauxialite collection which I'll be posting about when the images are released though you can find a few sneaky behind the scenes pics on my instsgram. It's amazing and I even got some beauties to take home with me!
This awful weather is depressing me but I cant wait for fashion week so planning my outfits is getting me through this month!

Happy Sunday,have a great week!
